Gemischter Satz - Original Hauerwein

Our easy-drinking introduction to the typical wines of the Thermenregion. The "Original Hauerwein" is a field-blend (Gemischter Satz) of the varieties Rotgipfler, Zierfandler, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Grüner Veltliner.

Chardonnay Gumpoldskirchen
VILLAGE WINE
The fine soils in Gumpoldskirchen, characterised by fossil shell limestone, give this Chardonnay its unmistakable style. Full-bodied and fresh with flavours of yellow tropical fruit and ripe stone fruit. Finesse-rich acidity.
Zierfandler Gumpoldskirchen
VILLAGE WINE
From our vineyards in Gumpoldskirchen. The fine soils, characterised by fossil shell limestone, give this Zierfandler its finesse-rich herbal-citrus note and minerality. Fresh gooseberries with plenty of exotic flavours. Animating acidity.
Rotgipfler Pfaffstätten

From our vineyards in Pfaffstätten. Heavy clay and loamy soils give this Rotgipfler its intensely exotic fruit flavours of coconut, pineapple and Naschi pear. Highly elegant on the palate. Well-integrated acidity. Exciting minerality.
Single vineyard wines & Reserves
Our best. These wines form the top segment of our range. The authenticity of the site, minerality and finesse take centre stage. Long maturation on the vine. Matured in large wooden barrels, partly in concrete eggs or in amphorae.
Riesling Ried Zistl

An elegant Riesling from our oldest vineyard with vines over 50 years old. Very aromatic and flavoursome, with aromas of ripe apricots and vineyard peaches. Racy acidity, intense and mineral on the finish.
Chardonnay Ried Ruffenbrunn

Single-vineyard wine from our Ruffenbrunn vineyard. Slow fermentation and maturation in large old oak barrwl. Distinctly vineyard peach and yellow tropical fruit on the nose. Creamy on the palate, long-lasting with a lively acidity. Light mineral and herbal texture on the finish.
Zierfandler Ried Otzler

Single-vineyard wine from our monopoly vineyard Otzler. Fermented and matured in large wooden barrels and amphoras. Delicate herbal and citrus flavours. Very puristic on the palate with a herbal-mineral note. Reductive, smoky nose with a hint of incense. Bone-dry, rich in finesse and complex.
Rotgipfler Ried Pressweingarten

Single-vineyard wine from our Pressweingarten vineyard in Pfaffstätten. Fermented and matured in large old wooden barrels. The heavy clay & loam soils with a high lime content give this Rotgipfler its unmistakable tropical flavour and tasty notes with balanced acidity.

Rotgipfler Maischeverorgen
Natural wine
Our mash-fermented Rotgipfler. After gentle hand-picking, fermented on the skins for approx. 14 days and then matured on the fine lees in small French wooden barrels for several months. Spicy tropical fruit flavour with an intense herbal touch. Powerful, savoury with crisp, well-integrated acidity and an enormous finish. Decanting is worthwhile .
Rotgipfler Reserve
RESERVE WINE
Selection of the best Rotgipfler grapes from our oldest vineyards. Fermented and matured in small French wooden barrels. Intense yellow tropical fruit, especially fresh mango & papaya. Clearly structured with finesse-rich acidity on the finish. Powerful and typical of the variety with light roasted flavours.
Chardonnay Reserve
RESERVE WINE
Selection of the best Chardonnay grapes from our oldest vineyards. Fermented and matured in small French wooden barrels. Salty herbal and citrus notes on the nose, accompanied by yellow fruit and a hint of roasted flavours. Rich in finesse and long on the palate with an intense creamy-salty structure. Full of character, clearly structured acidity on the finish.

Zweigelt Steinfeld
REDWINE
Typical Zweigelt variety, comes with a lot of freshness and fruit. Sour cherry and blackberry flavours. The subtle tannins and good flavour structure make this light red the ideal summer wine.
Zweigelt Rubin
PREMIUM REDWINE
Premium Zweigelt from our best and oldest vineyards. It is characterised by its density and structure. Flavours of ripe currants and sour cherries. The ageing in large and small wood gives it its slightly smoky flavour.
Cuvée Badenerberg
PREMIUM REDWINE
Our new premium cuvée from the Zweigelt - Cabernet Sauvigon and Merlot varieties is characterised by its complex and finesse-rich structure. On the palate, intense dark berry flavours, fresh violets, a hint of chocolate nougat and a multi-faceted tannin structure.
Pinot Noir Reserve
RESERVE WINE
Our great Burgundy reserve. Aged for 18 months in small French wooden barrels. A racy Pinot that lives from its enormous freshness. Intense fruit, fresh wild berries with light herbal notes, noble on the finish.
Cuvée Ried Igeln Reserve
RESERVE WINE
Reserve Cuvée from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties Matured for 24 months in small wood. Intense dark berry flavours on the palate, smoky and spicy with facets of dark chocolate, a powerful tannin structure on the finish.
Fruity sweet wines & Prädikat wines
We also mature the Chardonnay and Rotgipfler varieties with residual sweetness both in steel tanks and in small oak barrels. A small contribution to the sweet wine tradition of the region.
Chardonnay Barrique
Subtle fruity sweetness. The maturation in small French wooden barrels gives this Chardonnay its finesse-rich varietal flavour. Apricot, ripe citrus fruit & pineapple. Creamy texture. Finely spiced roasted flavours round off the taste. Well-integrated acidity (14 g residual sugar).
Rotgipfler Sweet
SWEET WINE
Bright golden yellow, light and fruity-sweet Rotgipfler, reminiscent of mango and passion fruit on the nose and palate, crisp acidity and a playful finish (approx. 40 g residual sugar).
Rotgipfler/Zierfandler - BA
SWEET WINE
Rotipfler/Zierfandler Beerenauslese. Brilliant golden yellow, noble and ripe on the palate, reminiscent of pure quince and forest honey, fresh botrytis flavour and crisp acidity (approx. 160 g residual sugar).
