The winery is a traditional family business in the heart of Traiskirchen, in the Thermen region of Austria. This carefully restored and expanded winery house has a lot to offer to its guests; the winery, the wine tavern, wine shop and an event cellar. Robert is patron of the house and he operates the winery with his two children Cathi and Lorenz. Cathi as a kitchen manager ensures the culinary highlights, Lorenz is responsible as a winemaker and cellar master for wine management. Two generations, who have dedicated themselves to enjoyment.
The wine garden management of the winery is run by Lorenz Alphart according to the latest ecological findings, traditional methods, and contemporary know-how. Through an unwavering pursuit of quality, he vinifies wines in the character of the region. In the cellar, he tries to get a maximum of taste and typicity out of the grapes.
The geological and climatic conditions of the Thermen region allow us to produce both elegant white wines and full-bodied red wines. Luvisol, with an increased proportion of limestone give the varieties Rotgipfler, Zierfandler and Chardonnay the best conditions to ripen optimally. Chalky gravel is ideal for the varieties Zweigelt and Pinot Noir.
